Archbishop Lefebvre on wealth and poverty

"If human hearts were motivated by the holy virtues, then wealth, instead of being avariciously and egotistically hoarded by a few, would be widely distributed among the modest purses of the many who are now living in abject poverty."

Truth before error - Archbishop Lefebvre

"Certainly, you must be informed about modern errors because preaching the truth involves preaching about distancing oneself from error; but do not make the negative, secondary aspect into the most important! Your first aim is not to fight against error but to know the truth. Your central concern should be study, your sanctification, silence, meditation, and the exercise of charity."

(Quoted on page 515 of Archbishop Lefebvre's biography by Bishop Tissier de Mallerais)
